State Of Emergency

It’s been an incredible and busy year so far for Fife band State of Emergency formed by twin brothers Robert and Richard Forrester (guitar and vocals), and friends Dean McIntyre and Brian Strachan (bass and drums). Things show no sign of settling down with the release of their debut album called ‘Sleeping Dreams’. The boys have also signed a new management deal, launched a fan web site and are preparing for the new album showcase.

‘Sleeping Dreams’ released on the bands own indie label features nine tracks and plots the development of the band since they formed three years ago. State of Emergency have honed their sound playing in pubs and clubs across the country and when they are not gigging they are practicing their instruments and writing songs. There is a sixth sense, an obvious bond between brothers Robert and Richard and this combined with Dean’s intuitive Bass playing and Brian’s impressive technical abilities gives the SOE sound an edge that lifts them head and shoulders above the local band scene. This year State Of Emergency performed at the Big Tent Festival, Falkland, which has an attendance of 8000.
