STATUS

Status, is an exciting and quickly emerging recording artist from San Diego, California. In 2012, Status hooked up with a longtime friend and industry producer, Shysti, for a series of songwriting sessions for an international pop group. Together they wrote and created songs and an amazing musical vibe. Status decided to begin working with Shysti on an independent project as a solo artist. This is where Statusfaction was born.

The two launched Inner Voice Music Group (IVMG), an independent label with Status at the helm and a music publishing administration firm, Inner Voice Music Publishing (IVMP), headed by Shysti.

The concept title for this new album project, starring Status, is a play on words. It symbolizes the beginning of a quest to create music to satisfy the masses, but also to raise the status quo. Status aims to push the perceived limits and traditions currently existing in Hip-Hop music and challenge the music world with a fresh new sound that will set exciting new trends.

Inspired by young successful artists like Drake, J Cole, Lil Wayne and icons like Jay Z and Kanye West, this Puerto Rican emcee is poised for greatness. With his alluring green eyes and the smooth cool demeanor in his vocal delivery, Status has the sex appeal to attract a huge female audience.
