On October 15, 2005, Stayin’ Alive, a tribute to the Bee Gees & 70’s Disco,
performed for an enthusiastic audience at the Reg Lenna Civic Center, in
Jamestown, NY. This beautifully renovated 1920’s movie palace turned
performing arts center rocked to the music of the Incomparable Bee Gees.
Stayin’ Alive’s Bee Gees Tribute performance was right on the mark.
Their sound transported you back in time to an original Bee Gees concert.
Al Spohn’s high falsetto replication of Barry Gibb’s vocals spotlighted in such
songs as “More Than A Woman”, “Night Fever” & “Stayin Alive”
was astounding. All the band members were excellent musicians and they
harmonized beautifully.
Their 70’s Disco set was fun, fun, fun! The costumes for this set were wild!
The songs they chose as representative of this era were great and again their
performances were right on. The band members were really wonderful to work
with; they were professional and cooperative. Look out for their wild and crazy
sides - that love of life and people that all musical artists have that keeps them
performing year after year after year - their exuberance for performing captured
the audience and swept them away to another time and other places.
This was a fun show and we highly recommend Stayin’ Alive!

"Hard Rock/Orlando"

October 16, 2007

The Stayin' Alive band get the credit! Our event was a huge success. The typical nonprofit charity fundraiser is often filled with talking heads and rubber chicken in a banquet room. Your show set the tone from the very first moment a guest walked in.

In my memory, and that of several collegues who shared similar experiences, there has been no event in which the guests were as engaged and had so much fun! We were so pleased that everyone, from elected officials to state employees shrugged off the seriousness of their jobs to have a good time.

The music was superb; your costumes were awsome. You did a great job of getting everyone on the dance floor to have a good time. And, we were able to do our business and give awards during your much-deserved breaks.

Friday Night Fever helped put our agency at the top of fundraisers' minds - thank you so much for your professionalism and talent.

Sincerely,

Linda R. Bevan

"To Whom It May Concern"

Lee Productions has worked with Stayin' Alive for nearly four years. We have booked the band in venues with a capacity of 500 to 4, 000 people. Wherever they perform, the group puts on a high quality, dynamic and extremely entertaining show. They are all excellent musicians and showmen.

I enjoy working with this group. They are a great bunch of guys. They are dependable and professional, arriving on time and giving the performance that was expected. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Sncerely,

"Stayin Alive!"

Nov. 9, 2004

Dear Al,
I have been a promoter / consultant for over 30 years, I have presented, promoted and produced dozens of "Tribute Bands".
I want to state unequivocally that when your group, STAYIN' ALIVE sold out "Club Escapes" on Friday, Nov. 12th, 2004 in Sarasota, you were the "Best of the Best".
Your band's professionalism, their stage presence, their show, their complete dedication to the performance of "THE BEE GEES" was impeccable.
I mean from their mannerisms, to their voices, from their wardrobe to their backline, it was all 100% Par Excellence.
I rarely rave about anythingor anyone in the industry, but I wanted to write you personally and state that your Tribute Band is phenomenal and that you drew a crowd that never wanted you to leave.
I wish all Tribute Bands had your band's style, class, professionalism, stage presence, musical ability and dedication.
As your mentors sang, "Jive Talkin' your band has no jive and walks the walk and does not talk the talk.

Kindest Regards,

Rich Unger
