Bio

Coining the term, "What It Be Like," Mr. Get It How You Live is gaining national attention after generating a massive following throughout the Cleveland and Midwest markets. The young star has climbed to the forefront of the underground music scene and his Champagne Campaign is delivering game changing music with every release.

With his first industry effort - "Get It How You Live" (hosted by Dj Vlad, Dj E-V & Dj Flaco), Swift garnered major regional attention on some of Hip Hop's hottest websites, blogs, and forums. The mix-tape contained an infectious and groundbreaking record – ‘What It Be Like,’ which was featured on Sirius & XM Satellite radio, highlighted by Java Joel on Cleveland’s 96.5 KISS FM Local Spotlight, and is still in regular syndication on college radio all across Ohio. This put him together with a solidified position in the business, receiving Ohio Hip Hop Award nominations for Best Mixtape Artist and Mixtape of the Year with over 40,000 D/L’s collectively and 10,000 physical copies in the streets. "This is something we had in mind as a goal, but we had no idea the whole state was really behind the movement," Swift explains surprisingly. "It was gratifying to see how the streets reacted to my music. They showed me I was doing the right thing and they loved it." Mr. Get It How You Live has been featured on hundreds of mix-tapes, projects and blog sites –including: VladTV.com, LiveMixtapes.com, LeakJones.com, 57thAve.com, MidwestMixtapes.com, OhioHustle.com and even BOBATL.com (B.O.B's official blog) including many other top 100 Hip Hop websites.

“The Champagne Campaign,” catapulted Swift as an independent threat, launching successful tour dates regionally which helped in marketing to a stellar interactive fan base across the globe with his fun music. The project was nominated as Best Mixtape of 2011 in the Ohio Hip Hop Awards. In this category Swift was in competition with Bad Boy’s Machine Gun Kelly, Def Jam’s Ray Jr., and Maybach Music Group’s Stalley. The recognition was incredible as an independent artist to be ranked as a heavy hitter in the state. Perhaps this is a sign of things to come as many A&Rs, label reps and entertainment outlets have been keeping tabs on all the latest Stay Swift content. This lifestyle mix-tape series is a great look for Swift, as he has established thousands of fans with anticipation of his next project, “The Champagne Campaign 2: Red Carpets & Velvet Ropes.”

Swift has established a respected name by releasing definitive material with a consistently relentless work ethic that is unmatched. The Stay Swift boss’ ability to generate hit music is uncanny with his witty wordplay, dynamic punchlines, and catchy hooks. But music is not the young stars only strength. The Stay Swift brand was developed as a representation of striving for the finer things in life by remaining positive and polished through any circumstance. Stay Swift has been releasing seasonal fashion and will be launching a new line with the release of TCC2. It's almost a no-brainer his following project is entitled, "Undeniable." The first single off "Undeniable" -- 'Can't Do Me,' has been building up Swift's anticipation by receiving major digital love from club DJ’s, mixtape DJ's and blog sites.

With the release of “Undeniable,” Swift describes his versatility and songwriting abilities are going to stand out the most. The transition from the streets to mainstream is tough, but the Midwest is anticipating what the Ohio player has in store with his skyrocketing career.

Growing up in the hood, balancing college and the trap isn’t easy. Graduating high school is hard enough nowadays. Dealing with the streets is a lot to handle for many young individuals everyday all across the globe. Swift is able to show you how he handled and overcame this by speaking for the youth. The young Spanish cat from the middle of the map grew up crafting his skill at an early age during an era of unoriginal, mundane music in one of the most stagnant periods in the history of the music business. Artists have been over-saturating the game with gimmicks and cheap imitation or bullshit trends. Isn't it time for something fresh?
