STEALING VANITY

The florida based band, Stealing Vanity, has carried an outstanding reputation for their unique sound, and the chemistry that creates it. 2012 has brought great things for the band while 2013 has painted a whole new picture.

The band started their career in 2011 playing local shows on the sunny east coast, and built a fan base who fell in love with their strong work ethic and their powerful impact on stage. As Stealing Vanity continued to play shows, they were in the midst of writing their EP and fans were demanding it. The band made their mark with the release of their single Lovesick in June of 2012. Shortly after, they began talk of signing with an independent label and in August guitar players Ryan Hutchinson and Kyle Davis along with vocalist Christina Mae, did just that. They released their EP A New Light under their label River Run Records.

Stealing Vanity made their next big step winning Best Original Band in a battle of the bands called the MaiTai Rumble. They were given a recording package at KDS studios in Orlando, that is known for bringing in major acts. The band hit the air waves with their EP and were interviewed on Beach 92.7 fm with Terry Turner who said "The reaction we have gotten from listeners is something very rare and quite a compliment." as he surprised them with a fan that was waiting at the studio to meet them face to face. A surreal moment for the band as they realized this was the beginning of whats to come for 2013.
