"Stealth | iExcel (2012 Video)"

A little different than what you’d expect from an Atlanta based emcee, Stealth opens up his mental window and allows us to view what he has penned as it comes alive over a gritty percussion heavy, drum and bass track, backed by cuts featuring Nas’ classic words, “I excel, then prevail…” Stealth’s offering, “iExcel”, sounds more like what you would hear from 90’s hip hop group, Group Home, as far as the Premo sounding backdrop and the way the video was shot. (The group which Stealth happens to be paying homage to.) However the flow is all his own; with iExcel, Stealth is showcasing that he has bar strength, lyrical ability and dexterity, which is evident upon watching the 2:40 video, which is shot in the classic I got a beat, I got rhymes, and a camera, so step into my world approach – a style that never gets old when trying to showcase raw talent, which Stealth undoubtedly has. iExcel is a good listen and Stealth is definitely an artist to keep an eye on because, as he states, “I’m different than these rappers, we ain’t the same chemically, we don’t line up, so we ain’t the same symmetry…” Which means he has something different to bring to the table, which is probably why he excels… View, listen, and be open…
Bless, - D.Levon

"Stealth-The Last Candle(Mixtape)"

Bauce Sauce here… I hope everyone enjoyed my live-tweeting of the Donald Glover ATL #IAMDONALD Childish Gambino show. If you missed it then you probably are infected with HPV. Anyways, while I was standing in line to get in, I chatted up a few people around me and recruited them to be in my Zombie/Hipster Apocalypse regime in case shit went south. It was obvious us five could fuck everyone, especially this mustachioed hipster, up, and I wanted to be prepared. Turns out one of the dude does music, and does it well.

Ladies and centaurs, I present to you: Stealth. His latest mixtape, The Last Candle was written from a dark place of desperation with a sense of hope. I really connected with this cause I was in a pit of despair hating where I was at with my life ferociously when I listened. Where most rappers these days lack the ability to express their passion/pain with their voice, Stealth doesn’t. You’ll be presently surprised. So do your stale iTunes library a favor. - Mostlyjunkfood.com

The fourth installment of Stealth’s Jack Moves series shows Kanye catching a gun to the back of his dome as he rips into his instrumentals. He also plays a smart move by NOT spitting over the usual ‘Ye production. - The Sermon's Domain

"Stealth-Speck of Gold(Remix)"

So check this, hip hopper Stealth was sitting in a cafe a few weeks back when he heard this track, he dug it so he wrote some bars to it. Sometimes the simplest stories are the best.

The track is dope, he put some emotion into the words which is never a bad thing, I’m not a fan of the hook but the verses make up for that. - The Hip Hop Effect

"Stealth-Lay Back In The Cut"

The third release off 2nds. West Coast sounding joint gets a pass round these parts. And he doesn’t get a pass off that alone. Lyrics are fire. - The Sermon's Domain

"Welcome To The World Of Stealth"

I’m always looking out how new music and aspiring artists to listen to, so when someone reachs out to me it’s just perfect. Sometimes I’m not always a fan of the music, but sometimes it really catches my attention. The next artist I’m going to introduce you to falls into the ladder category. Stealth is originally from Hinesville, GA but recently moved to Atlanta. Aside from being a hip-hop arist he is also a producer, which benefits him greatly.

“Jacking For Alchemist” is part of a new project that he’s working on called “The Jack Move” where he does jackin’ for beats from his favourite producers tracks.

I’ll follow-up with some music from Stealth within the next few days, but I wanted to get his name out there to you. Feel free to check him out on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/thakidstealth or follow him on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/stealth_ismetal. - The Goodie Bag

"Stealth – Won’t U Believe"

Another refreshing, real track from Stealth. He’s keeping the true essence of hip hop in his music. Support his grind and check out the joint "Won’t U Believe". - Lesa J.-Brick to ya face

Bio

Hailing from Hinesville, Georgia, music is something that has always been more therapy than entertainment for Stealth. Ever since writing his first rap in 5th grade about making money on a newspaper route, he hasn't put his pen down.

Growing up in a turbulent home, Stealth used his music as an escape from the problems he faced. While his older siblings were old enough to find shelter at a friends house, Stealth, while being too young to flee in that manner, chose to seek refuge through his headphones. Gaining influence from such legends as Mobb Deep, Nas, and Redman, eventually led to him penning his own stories about his childhood and the struggles he endured in his youth.

He first got to tell these tales of turmoil on 2006's "Metal Gear Solid," his first official mixtape release. Tracks like "The Rain", "All I got is u", and "Vent Muzik" speak of the pain of enduring an emotionally abusive and alcoholic father to the challenges of overcoming low-esteem issues as an adolescent.

It wasn't until 2008, that Stealth began building his following on the blogs, releasing tracks through various online outlets and building relationships which led to being featured on such projects as 2009's "Spring Cleaning", which was a collaborative mixtape put together by Subconscious Threads and illRoots.com and 2010's "Suggestive Listening", a compilation project put together by the9elements.com. Furthermore, in 2010, he was featured in Hip-Hop Wired's New Artist Spotlight. Also, his latest mixtape release, 2011's "The Last Candle", was featured on such sites as Mostlyjunkfood.com. Thesermonsdomain.com, and Thecartercartel.com.

Stealth's move to Atlanta in 2009 has placed him a position to keep building on his foundation. On the production side, Stealth has worked with up and coming Atlanta artists such as Mums FP, and Money Makin' Nique. He also gained his first major placement with Maybach Music Group artist and Atlanta native Pill, for 2010's "Let Somebody Love Me", which Pill says is one of his most heart-felt songs. At the 2010 A3C Hip-Hop Festival held in Atlanta, Stealth delved into another part of his creative side by filming his Starving Artist Testimony series, which profiled up and coming artists by asking them questions about how they were able to stay focused through life's adversities. Featuring such rising artists as Laws, Emilio Rojas, and Esso, the series also featured legendary producer DJ Toomp.

Stealth is constantly trying to elevate his artistry and expand his brand. When he's not working on his craft you can always find him out and about at music events building with people and continuing to make a name for himself.
