Steelwolf

The Steelwolf name came about from the mix of the natural, and the hi-tech worlds. Based in Greensboro NC., we are a metal band with a background in the 80's. While what we play has a sound all it's own, it still shows the roots the band was formed on. Members of Steelwolf have played all over the US. Opening for acts like Joan Jett, Y&T, and Molly Hatchet. The band also got a good run touring up north with Blackfoot, at the time playing only covers but with an awesome stage show. Sadly, the band went seperate ways in the early 90's. In 1998 Warren and Johnny put the band back together and have in recent years aquired the talents of Paul Whitsett on lead guitar, Paul Canham on the bass, and Steve Moore for the job of fronting the band. At this time we have released a 3 song demo and a full length 10 song cd. We have been in magazines and papers such as E.S.P., PA music, Focus magazine, as well as the Greensboro News and Record. We were also reviewed by a web based E-zine known as Strutter'zine. Steelwolf has been recently approached with label interest overseas and we are diligently working on putting together a new CD.
