Bio
Steffi Graf is the performance/DJ/production duo of Antone Proler and Latane Hughes. Although we are based out of Los Angeles, we were both born and raised in Houston, TX which in turn has enabled us to maintain and nurture a very loyal following in the city. Steffi Graf's live show comes in two forms: We have a live setup which has the two of us spinning house tracks while simultaneously playing live drums, percussion, and synth. The other setup is simply your traditional DJ setup consisting of two Pioneer CDJs and a mixer. Our influences come from all around the world; from US producers such as Maceo Plex, Danny Daze, and Classixx to acts in the UK like Maxxi Soundsystem. We have arguably been most influenced by Australian acts such as Cassian, Plastic Plates, and Bag Raiders, the latter sharing a similar live setup to Steffi Graf. Since the beginning we have made it a point to meld our favorite styles of house music from around the world into our own Texas-bred blend.
