"Borders"

"The guitar prowess of Sheryl Crow; the voice, a cross of Stevie Nicks and Emmylou Harris; the songwriting of Joni Mitchell. That's Steff Mahan. Her version of Amazing Grace made a woman cry. I've scheduled and heard live acts in our cafe for 3 years and I've seen no one as polished as Steff Mahan. An amazing talent and outstanding live show." - Steve Craft, Manager - Borders Northland

"KKFI Kansas City"

"After twenty years on the air doing a contemporary folk show, Steff gives me hope that there is life . . . for a songwriter. She has a knack for transferring her life experiences into a song that everyone can identify with one way or another. Keep it up and Nashville be damned, you've got the gift."
- Jeanne Jasperse, Coffeehouse Folk

"Billboard Magazine"

"... an entertaining, can't miss performance..." - Mike Gionet

"KDHX, St. Louis"

"Steff is an amazing live performer. She appeared on my show and got the phones ringing off the hook." - Linda Serafini

"Mad Bookings & Events"

"... a true professional who pours her heart into every note...amazing..."
- Andria Towne, Executive Producer

"Nashville City Paper"

"Simply a wicked cool singer/songwriter."
- Ron Wynn

"WRLT, Nashville, TN"

"I saw Steff at Slow Bar and was blown away so I booked her for our birthday party with Patty Griffin." - Keith Coes, Music Director

"Beth Scalet"

"Steff frames her well-crafted songs in humorous stories, making her a geniunely accessible performer, and her hip-shaking keeps all eyes on her ("I'm Elvis' illegitimate child," she explains). Steff's style walks the line between Shawn Colvin and Nashville country, and the result is music that sounds better with each listening." - Beth Scalet - www.BethScalet.com

42.50
--------------------
42.50
little sad for me
leaving money
rock in my shoe
not so perfect
laughin'
this time around
even this broken heart
wish
wrong woman man

Steff Mahan
---------------------
i don't want to know
i tend to lose things
all we never had
happened to see the moon
love me enough
circle of love
finely fine
when i understood love
what if
state of the heart
