We are currently in the process of getting some old and newly written material together for an EP scheduled to be released before July, 2011.
What recorded material that we've put proudly on this EPK is comprised of one studio recording, some rough recordings from private band rehearsals and some live recordings taken straight from the mixing board at The Hayloft Liquor Stand in Mt. Clemens, MI.

Stella was formed in the early summer of 2010, by Aaron Brzozowski (vocals, guitar) and Greg Pawlowicz (guitar), out of the ashes of years of prior collaborative projects - a little band called Blue Solus, a four-piece jazz ensemble, and an improvisational rock duo aptly named Poetry Sung, Not Spoken, to name a few. Later, Katelyn Burkart joined forces to make the duo a trio, initially going by the moniker Anon Adrift.
Several months and three successful gigs later, they were Stella, an honest, genuine folk-rock trio from the suburbs, with influences as diverse and varied as Spoon, Gary Jules and Radiohead. A soulful, skilled group of musicians, Stella never forgot their love of classic rock acts or the blues of the deep south, either. They've become a thoughtful, artistic band with a folk-rock sound and a sincere singer-songwriter sensibility.
While staying together despite attending three different colleges has been tough, putting a strain on the collective creativity and ability to land gigs of the group, it's easily been more than worth it, and the three are looking forward to a more aggressive approach to gigging, promoting and advertising in the near future.
