In the not too distant future….A research spacecraft leaves an ecologically damaged Earth to find the next habitable world. The travel is long and the vastness of space is intimidating. A distant exoplanet provides hope of an oxygen-rich atmosphere that allows for humans to sustain life. Strange ecosystems bewilder and astonish as the scientists explore strategies for survival and struggle to understand this new world. It becomes clear that communication back to Earth and the inevitable human mass migration may not be possible in order to keep the symbiotic balance that sustains life on this planet.
