Stephanie Sorel is what the music industry has long been waiting for. The talented singer and songwriter has been perfecting her craft since she fell in love with music at the age of 6. Raised within a family of musicians, Sorel’s childhood was filled with days of listening to the sounds of Classic Soul and R&B. It’s no wonder that she pulls energy from the likes of Patti LaBelle, Tina Turner, Anita Baker, Whitney Houston and Donna Sommers whether in the studio or on the stage. Now at the age of 24, Sorel has reached new heights with her blend of R&B and sultry Soul. That old thing is back! Sorel is by no means a stranger to live performance. Since her days of starring in school musicals, she continues to perform at various venues. Her most recent performances include the Legendary Apollo Theater, The Sugar Bar, Laguna Lounge and Club Pyramid to name a few. Sorel has recently released her debut album, “DESIRE” on her indie label Killer Instincts Music.
