Woola Laflora boasts a heavy resume, considering she’s on Evangelist Joyce Meyers’ worship team. She also co-labors in the music ministry with husband Stephen LaFlora. Stephen serves as the musical director and Woola serves as the worship leader for their ministry, which is the focus of their wonderful new release, Ministering to the Lord.
"All Hail to the Father" is a wonderful praise anthem with orchestra like instrumentation. Woola leads and exhorts as the praise team take her cues and sing of God’s goodness. "Praise You Lord" is an uptempo song that has the sound of a Maranatha choir or Brooklyn Tabernacle, because of the toned down vocals and vocal arrangements.
Woola puts her stamp on the ever-popular "Days of Elijah". Here’s a song that just never gets old. The wonderful organ and piano weave throughout as Woola and choir sing with enthusiasm and passion. The arrangements are such that they can be sung easily be adapted by any type of vocal ensemble.
Th worship material is bountiful and beautiful on this recording. "Worship You Lord" is a gem that features simple, but powerful words. Go ahead and repeat this song, it’s just that good. Joey Woolfalk adds his signature acoustic guitar to accent the piece.
The medley, "You Are the Living God/Hallelujah to the Lord" is another worship number that is full of smooth modulations, great vocals, and spirited ad libs by Woola —a great song for intimate worship time with God.
"Thank You For Healing Me" is one of those "hand-clapping, foot-stomping" numbers with a hint of Southern Gospel in it. Stephen shows his love for music with the two instrumentals, "Amazing Grace" and "Great is The Lord".

Bio
Stephen LaFlora is a gifted composer and pianist with amazing versatility that enabled him to compose an Emmy award wining score for NBC. Stephens first release, a completely original project entitled Sounds of Healing, is a soothing instrumental CD composed while sitting at the piano. He is a graduate of Northwestern University School Music and a 1990 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center. Stephen also served in the past as musical director for the music group Committed
Woola LaFlora, (pronounced Oo-la) also known as Candy, is a former member of the gospel group Committed and has served as a studio vocalist for music artists including Daniebelle Hall, Bassist Micheal Manson and Reverend Keith Moore. In addition, her powerful voice has enabled her to sing for national advertising clients such as 7-Up and Sears. Candy is a 1990 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and in 1998 she went on her first European tour as a vocalist. Her first solo release is entitled Love Heals.
The LaFloras have served in worship ministry with Christian leaders such as Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Hagin, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Keith Moore, and others. They have ministered on Trinity Broadcasting Network and traveled across the world to India, Ireland, England, Australia, and South Africa reaching millions with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music. Stephen and Candy have numerous recordings including Ministering to the Lord with the song Jesus Gave which topped the charts all across the United States.
