I've gotten scattered airplay over the years. Jimmy Buffett specifically liked my song "Jimmy Buffett is Living my Life" which got considerable airplay in San Diego in the early 90's. Most recently "We Build the Trucks", a story of Detroit's resiliance in tough times, has gotten a fair amount of airplay and nearly 20,000 hits on Youtube.
"Mexicoma" apparently has become quite the crowd favorite in Umea Sweden...don't ask how that happened!

I've been a television journalist for 30 years. Before that I was a professional musician...studying jazz saxophone and classical clarinet.
My first broadcast experience was as a jack-of-all-trades at a country radio station in Greeley, Colorado. I was instantly attracted to the story-telling aspect of country music and began to play guitar and write.
I was influenced in my earlier years by songwriters like John Denver, James Taylor, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson and Bruce Springsteen.
