Bio
Stephen Combs has been the Pastor of Worship at Wilson Community Church since July of 2005 and the Pastor of Youth at WCC since August of 2006.
Stephen received a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Percussion Performance from East Carolina University. While in college, he was heavily involved in Cru (formerly known as Campus Crusade For Christ), attending 4 Summer Projects, leading multiple bible studies, and leading worship at Cru from the beginning of his Sophomore year to the end of his Senior year. Stephen spent the summer of his Junior year serving on a Summer Project as a drummer with Keynote, the music ministry of Cru.
Stephen and his wife Caroline met at Cru during the Fall of his Senior year. They were married in September of 2005 and have lived in Wilson, NC ever since. They have a daughter named Cadence who was born in January of 2010.
Stephen Combs is a prolific song writer whose main desire is to write worship songs for the church. He released an album along with StedFast (the music ministry of Wilson Community Church) in March of 2009 entitled “Lost”. His current album project, “Ignite”, was released in March of 2013.
