Bio
Steve Fenton is a passionate musician. He has played drums in various Sydney bands for many years and developed a strong interest in song writing, with songs featured in some Sydney University revues.
He wrote the music for the show Same Difference that had runs at the Bondi Pavilion Theatre, Bondi and Bonapartes theatre restaurant in Sydney in the 1980s.
Two songs, Standing in the Light and Latin Passion have received considerable airplay and feedback in recent years.
Standing in the Light was a featured original composition on Helen Fentons debut album, After Dark released on the La Brava label in 1997 and was produced and arranged by Paul Baker.
Latin Passion, also produced and arranged by Paul Baker, appeared on Helens second album, The Simple Life. Steve wrote the lyrics for two other compositions on this latter album collaborating with top Sydney Jazz music writer Graham Jesse.
