Bio
If only nerds play piano, and only hipsters listen to jazz, then Stephen Lichota (Le-Co-Tah) is a non mainstream, glasses-wearing guy. He writes sensitive pop songs on guitar and piano, taking inspiration from his non-conventional musical upbringing. When he was 9, he received a Thelonious Monk CD from divine angels. This divine gift enlightened him, and allowed him to play with the intensity of 10,000 suns. The combination of his unique jazz influences and his ears having been tuned to 90's hits as a child cause his musical background to stick out like a duck in a gaggle of geese.
HIs live show is a portable, compact, good time. He'll have you singing some of covers that you may have forgotten, and have you humming along to some of his fresh, new original songs.
To demonstrate his eclectic background, he will be releasing an EP of original music in August of 2012. This EP will make you dance with the confidence of Micheal Jackson, think extremely deep like the mind of Gandhi, and be rich and successful like Steve Jobs.
As he graduates from high school, he is going to find his flock. Having been accepted to Berklee College of Music for the Fall of 2012, he is going to learn as much as he can to make great music. He hopes that the salty waves of the Atlantic ocean bring down great ideas that he can share with you.
