Lyrical thoughts spoken and sung with melodic accompaniment; so far, completely in English.

Biography

I was born in the Northeast and in the Northeast I remain. I play guitar and piano and harmonica and sing the songs I write. I sing other peoples' songs sometimes as well, if they get along with my songs. Attempting to create a narrative. I like the old folks; Springsteen, Waits, Young, Newman, Van Zandt, Dylan, Cash, as well as younger (though older than me) folk; Wilco, Gillian Welch. Prose authors also get in there; Flannery O'Connor, Raymond Carver. Trying to understand why people do what they do.
