The highest compliment someone has ever paid me was that it was easy to believe what i write. I'm not a talented enough to be able to write songs about things i have no experience with. If I haven't thought/felt/lived it, I'm unable to write about it for more than a few lines. It surprises me when people relate to songs. It really speaks to how common some emotions and experiences really are.
I recently recorded an EP length disc in Nashville. The title of this EP is 'you are' and is a small collection of songs that were written over the last 3 years. I plan on playing solo acoustic gigs until it is possible to put together a backing band.
