"Summer Lytle Rock with Greenvillage Church of God"

“Stereoreel played for our Youth Retreat this year. The students and leaders loved them. Their style is relevant to students and their lyrics reaches a wide rage of age groups. We appreciated their sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, their willingness to work with our program and their enthusiasm in interacting with our students.” - stereoreel.com

"Cory Smith with Training Ground"

“Stereoreel takes you from ‘we’re all in a room together and that’s reason enough to be excited’ to ‘God is here and we should quiet ourselves for a moment and listen’ then back again. (Several times.) It’s a fantastic experience you’d do well to be a part of…All of this comes as a result of the band members solid and intimate walk with Christ.” - stereoreel.com

"Brian Black with Five Forks Church"

"We booked Stereoreel for a youth event at our church. Prior to that night, I hadn’t heard them. But can I say – I mean, can I tell you – how wonderful, how blessed it was! God used these guys that night to bring us to a place of truly worshipping the Lord Jesus Christ. As a youth pastor, I couldn’t have asked for a better event. One of the main reasons for that is that these young men are genuine in their desire to serve the Lord. Another is that they have a great sound. I suggest you get them for your next event!" - stereoreel.com

Bio

Worship + Rock = Stereoreel

"We're worship leaders first," says Caleb, the lead singer. "I know you can worship God anywhere, anytime, but there's something special about being among friends."

And while we’re on the subject of mathematical equations, here’s another one:

Reverence + Joy = True worship

Our goal on any given night, regardless of the setting, is to bring, in the one hand the reverence that anyone should feel in the presence of the Creator of the stars. In the other hand, the joy that simply comes when a bunch of people gather in a room to sing songs. (When those people are all Christians, the joy is even greater.)

As examples of these we offer these exhibits:

Exhibit 1, on behalf of Reverence: Those times when our hearts have been so sufficiently focused on God that we dismiss everyone and not a person moves.

Exhibit 2, on behalf of Joy: The distance that occasionally finds itself between the soles of Ethan's feet and the stage.

Stereoreel was born when Caleb and Dustin Martin started leading worship for retreats with whoever else they could find. One week, one set of guitarists, the next, another. After a few years of this they decided to begin work on their first album, Save Me. Midway through this process, Seth and Ethan Dean, guitar-playing brothers came along and give us the sound we have now.

And, with these happy thoughts, we leave you with the words to the bridge of one of our favorite songs:

Sing, sing, sing
Sing it out
Sing, sing, sing
A little louder now
