Bio
Stereotype was formed in August 2003 bringing a new type of rock to the local and national scene. By blending early alternative rock of the 90's and today's modern mainstream metal. Some of our biggest influences are Nirvana, Mudvayne, Ill Nino, Sevendust, Incubus, and Nonpoint. We have played several shows since our debut show in October of 2004. In December of 2004, we won a battle of the bands competition and were claimed Rockford's band of the year for 2004. We have gained a very steady following over the past few months and gain many fans with every show we play.
