Bio
Sterlatone are Dylan Alling, Bas Mulder and Ivo Witteveen.
Copywriting his way through the advertising industry, Dylan sought ventilation for his vocal ambitions. He soon found Ivo - composer and music producer for commercials. As fate would have it Ivo was looking for a pop music industry companion. The chemistry between them resulted in endless days and nights in Ivo’s professional sound studio where recording of their debut commenced in 2006.
With the help of their friends, a group of session musicians, Dylan and Ivo created the Sterlatone sound. After a particularly satisfying recording session with one of those friends, Dutch guitar hero Bas Mulder, Dylan and Ivo realised that his contribution to the Sterlatone sound was as big as theirs. Consequently, they asked him to join the band. The three of them haven't looked back since.
Sterlatone have been receiving favorable reviews in the Dutch press. The reviewers applaud the "catchy tunes", "radio-friendly sound" and "solid production skills".
