Bio

Steve Caraway has been a fixture on the live scene in the Baltimore MD and Boston MA areas for quite some time as a solo performer on both guitar and piano, music and comedy with the Cruz Brothers, and performing with original bands such as Big Trouble and Night After Night, as well as the top rated function juggernaut Secret Service in venues from the late , lamented Rat and the Channel, up to the Abbey Lounge, the Skybar, the Rack and the Boston Hard Rock Cafe . He also served as Entertainment Director for the Horizon`s Edge Casino Cruise Line until 2004.
Steve Caraway and Radio Patrol began in the waning months of 2006 and was formed to perform live the catalog of S.C. , especially the recently completed solo album Hurricane Season. Managed by Marlene Palumbo of IndienInk and formerly of Not Lame, S.C. and Radio Patrol feature the commanding stage presence, emotive vocals, and powerful bass, of Steve Caraway, the incredible drumming of Jay Dellisola, who combines Keith Moon-like intensity with the taste of Levon Helm, Bill D`Eon playing the extensive layered keyboard and horn parts featured on Hurricane Season as well as singing high and lonesome, and last but not least, the enigmatic Rob Scott on guitar, with his ability to wrench whale sounds, cinematic soundscapes, jangle and crunch, all without breaking a sweat.
The music of Steve Caraway runs the gamut from Phil Spectorish drama, acidic Merseybeat, Faces/Replacements/Husker Du-like punk and roll, Byrdsy jangle and Tears in your Beer Country. Radio Patrol negotiates all the different genres present with the aplomb of the Attractions at their peak.
