This is evident after one listen to the new album “The Paramount Sessions” currently on double disc in all stores worldwide and also features the superstar vocalist Adam Lambert.

Styles and method
Steve Cooke’s style can be described as a marriage of British Blues, Rock, Americana and Acoustic folk music, topped with heavy choruses, lots of light and shade and dynamic singing.

He also plays a 6 and12 string guitar and has many personalized new tunings. Strongest guitar influences are Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and Peter Townsend.

Equipment
Steve Cooke plays a hand made German 12 string and a Jarrell acoustic 6 string, both featuring Seymour Duncan pickups and Jarrell electrics also featuring with Seymour Duncan pickups, plus his vintage Les Paul and Maton.
Cooke plays through a Vox slaved through a Marshal and into a 100 Watt Quadbox.
Steve’s favorite Seymour Duncan products are the Mag Mic and Dtar system with a Solstice Dtar acoustic pre amp box. “Its just sounds wicked”, Steve says.

Industry insiders who are well aware of the many talents of Steve Cooke will get a chance to hear him live at NAMM 2012 (19th-22nd of Jan) when he performs for Jarrell Guitars (hall C) at the company’s booth 4198.

Hollywood residing singer/songwriter Steve Cooke and his co writing partner Monte Pittman have released a new song to kick off the New Year called “Bad Girl”.

The Mercury Feather project is a body of work comprising of 10 songs spanning from 2008 until today. “Its still and evolving process” says Cooke, who produced the track, without his musical collaborator Pittman in the studio, as he had to play half time at the Super Bowl with mega star Madonna.

"DaBet Music Services Opens Doors"

Attorney Angela Rose White, the daughter of the late songwriter, David Rose and the COO of the David Rose Publishing Co., has formed DaBet Music Services to provide personal music services and administration for both classic and emerging catalogs.

The company is already gearing up to administer interests in songs performed by Elvis Presley, Celine Dione, The Platters, Ike & Tina Turner, Count Basie, Little Richard, Cher, Cass Elliot, Donnie and Marie Osmond, and Dinah Shore.

DeBet is looking to land its first catalog but has signed a number of smaller deals, some for administering a single song. "We are doing co-administration in some of the Platters songs written by Paul Robi and by Buck Ram," said White.

White, who will continue in her position with David Rose Publishing, has traveled to Ghana, West Africa, Jamaica, and other Caribbean islands, and believes music she was exposed to in these locales has great potential in the U.S. As a result, DaBet is now representing Ugandan hip-hop artist Crazy Native, American jazz composer and pianist Max Haymer, and adult contemporary singer and composer Steve Cooke, who composed "Working for the USA."

"We recognize that there are still vast opportunities for the classic and emerging catalogs if you have a team with the zeal and focus to nurture these wonderful works along to full potential," White said in a statement. "That's why we felt a separate company from David Rose Publishing could fill an important niche in the marketplace."

To date White presides over a catalog which contains more than 500 copyrights. White can handle all aspects of publishing, including royalty analysis, collections, licensing, and communication with licensees, publishers, sub-publishers, and co-administrators both in and outside the U.S.
