Sunset Records has inked a multi album deal with guitarist/singer-songwriter Steve Garcia.
Steve Garcia heads into the studio after signing deal with Sunset Records.
Sunset, which internationally distributes albums by pop rock artists from all over the world, the label signs singer and songwriting "phenom," Steve Garcia to a multi album recording deal. The performer will also produce his debut CD due to hit stores by summer time this year. The music artist is coming off playing showcases at venues around the San Diego and southern California area.
(Steve) Garcia, who hails from San Diego (California), was seen on You Tube by label head, Don Lichterman a couple months which led to the recording deal. “I knew right away he had unique and obviously his songs have exceptional writing, says (Don) Lichterman about his latest signing at Sunset Records, “and I was just waiting for things to pan out at Sunset before I approached him about where he was at with his music and with his career.” Lichteman goes onto to say the two of us “hit it off in our first conversation about his songs.”
(Steve) Garcia is a multi-faceted artist that has an extensive catalog of songs already written and ready to be released, however, the label plans on releasing a ten (10) song debut CD at the beginning of summer. “Steve (Garcia) is in the studio now and I doubt the mix will need much considering his talent as a vocalist,” says Don Lichterman. “Every song the guy has turned over to me in the last month, has been ready to go onto a CD which is something I marveled at working on the label end.” His raw talent caught the attention of Sunset Records founder Don Lichterman, who was also “excited by not only his vox and musicianship,” but was also “excited by his sophisticated and accessible lyrics.
The impressive artist plans to release his debut to stores by May or June this year. There are plans for live showcases in California and a potential tour in support of the yet to be named debut CD.
