A wise-guy folkie in the tradition of Todd Snider and John Prine, Hall explores topics serious and surreal, from the closing of the only factory in his hometown to a zombie who is upset that his still-breathing wife is moving on with her life.

Over the years, Hall has performed his original material in diverse settings—a rally for thousands of middle-school students in the Indianapolis Colts’ stadium; charity runs; and, oh yeah, clubs and coffeehouses too. His songs have been played on public radio stations in Indiana, Iowa and Illinois.
