Steve Johnson

Steve Johnson

Mellow and yet upbeat, these melodic piano-based tunes are flavored with acoustic pop-rock, and power-folk spices.

I've been actively involved in the local Sacramento music scene for over 12 years. I have taken on many roles from sound and lighting, to pit orchestra member of the musical 'Godspell,' to hosting an open mic at a local venue. My musical involvements have included Scottfree, Molly Swank Band, and most recently StarThistle. Although my musical interests are pretty eclectic, my most significant influences have probably been Scott Joplin (Ragtime), Billy Joel, Bruce Hornsby, Elton John, Pink Floyd...and John Williams' movie soundtracks.
