"Steve Laret - Passion"

"Steve Laret may very well be the Romeo in black jeans that Michael Penn was talking about in his late 80s movie "No Myth". Luckily, Laret has the staying power to write circles around Penn with words and acoustic phrases strung together like icicle lights and a voice that takes command of their meaning." - The Allentown Times

"Steve Laret - a budding star."

"...I look forward to seeing him at the top of the charts." - Charles Moll - The Downingtown Ledger

Bio

With a uniquely recognizeable voice and a guitar slinging style that's all his own, Steve Laret is redefining the sound of tomorrow's singer/songwriter today. One listen to a "Laret song" and you'll know what we're talking about. He'll move your feet and head with his "rockers" and he's amazing at reaching into the recesses of the human heart and pulling out an emotion that needed some paying attention to; and he does it with his songs and "that voice".

A native of Eagle River, Alaska, Steve has traveled all across North America and now calls Thorndale, PA home. No one's sure why...

Steve has shared the stage with such respected artists as Warren Zevon, The Badlees, Pat Magee, and The Allman Brothers. In addition he garnered the distinguished honor for two consecutive years of being nominated in the Lehigh Valley Music Awards for Best All-Around Performer, Best Male Vocalist, Best CD for "Leaving St. Peter's" and Best Original Song for "Sage." He also won Lehigh Valley Music's Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award for 2002. Most recently, Steve partnered up with veteran Nashville songwriter/producer Jim Femino and between the two of them, have caused a stir in the ranks of the major players in the industry. The consensus is, "Steve Laret is an artist to watch who is most definitely on the way up!"

Steve's philosophy? "Live and love each day with as much passion as you can muster, because in the end the sum of our passion becomes the whole of our existence." Yeah, that about sums it up. Other than that, you might want to buy a track or two for your iPod. Go ahead! You know you want to...
