Bio
Steve Macone is somewhere between the life of the party of the most nervous person in the room. He has entertained audiences across the US as well as in England, Ireland and Canada with his brand of piercing observational humor and absurdist one-liners, a high-energy style that blends an extreme confidence with the awkwardness we all feel. His humor writing has been enjoyed by readers of the Boston Globe Magazine and the Boston Phoenix and he is a regular at clubs around Boston and has performed at Comics Come Home alongside Dennis Leary and Steven Wright in front of more than 5,000 people. One of the cleanest and most clever acts to come out of Boston in recent years, Steve is less "I can't believe he just said that" and more "I can't believe he just thought of that."
In 2008 Steve was chosen to perform at the New York Underground Comedy Festival and as the Comic in Residence at the famed Comedy Studio in Cambridge, MA, the club that was called "the greatest comedy club on Earth" by the producers of Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
