Steven Mulcare

Bio- The Brooklyn N.Y. born Toronto native started playing piano at the age of 7. His parents, born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, were pioneers in the 60's and 70's with a traveling gospel band. Involved in the local church music program, they instilled a love of music in him and his siblings. With the need for musicians at their church combined with his own interest and curiosity, he began experimenting and learned to play drums, saxophone, trumpet, bass and electric guitar. At the age of 20, although having never seriously sung before, he notice unexpected progress in his vocal abilities while singing his favourite tunes. The sudden and surprising change would lead him down a new path. As much as ever, creating music was what he felt he needed to be doing.
