Steve Johnson, a Superior, WI native, has steadily been building a following for the past several years. As former frontman for Sight Like December, an energetic indie rock sextet, he blended the band's upbeat melodies with thought provoking lyrics for a completely original sound.
As a solo artist, his uniquely startling vocals are second only to his talent for crafting subtle and powerful lyrics that move the listener without relying on cliches. Listening to Steve, you are totally aware that what you are hearing is a story of his life, elegantly fashioned into beautiful music.
