"The Lantern (The Ohio State University Newspaper)"

"Despite his musical accomplishments, Spires remains modest, and dismisses the idea that he's some kind of prodigy. He doesn't flaunt his ability, even though it is apparent while he plays."

- Scott Creighton

"16 Miles From Our Hometown Single 1.7.08"

"...strong lines of visual imagery and the lyrics tell very clear, cohesive stories." - (Independent A&R)

"Performance Praise"

"Having Steve on campus was great! His ability to play music from a variety of genres kept everyone in attendance engaged. Steve was extremely easy to work with when booking the event, and I would love to work with him again. I would highly recommend this artist to anyone looking for a fun, versatile, and extremely gifted musician."
-Jon Geyer, Student Activities Clarion University-Venango Campus Oil City, PA

-Tim Arnold, Terry's Tavern
