In Falls Church, VA, Durant also made a surprise appearance with the G.R.A.B., supplying lead vocals for a cover of Devo’s “Freedom of Choice” at the end of the group’ second set. Durant then returned during the trio’s encore to lead G.R.A.B. through a humorous “Far Side” rap.

Tonight, G.R.A.B. will perform at Jacksonville, FL’s Freebird Live, while RANA's next scheduled gig takes place take place at New York’s Knitting Factory tomorrow. Friday’s Knitting Factory performance will also feature several rooms worth of entertainment including Urban's Carnival Parade, which boasts hip-hop remixed tracks of several of the scene’s most notable names. - Jambands.com

Bio

Steve has been performing live for over 5 years, with many different groups and as a solo artist. He started performing while at Providence College, in Rhode Island at local bars and coffee shops. The tradition of playing instruments and singing, however, goes back many generations in his family. He was encouraged by his grandmother who told him that when she was a young girl her family would play and sing while at their home in Chile. He is currently based out of New York City, where he performs at the cities top rock clubs, for Rocks Off, NYC's #1 Independent Concert Promoters. Eventhough Steve is a solo performer he brings to the stage years of experience and an enormous stage presence equal to a full sized band. This year Steve plans to take his music throughout the Northeast and beyond.
