Bio
We all go through adversity and turmoil in our lives, but how we deal with difficult situations makes us who we are and how others perceive us to be. Stevie C, born Steven Corral April 4th, 1990, has overcome more then his fair share in life. He was abandoned by his father, and was left to learn the harsh realities of life while living with his mother in a small garage in a back alleyway of Atlantic Blvd in Alhambra, CA. Tough living conditions, early morning commutes to school never dampened his spirits and his love and passion for music.
His attraction for hip-hop started when he was 14 years old, when his cousin took him into their rap group called Squadboys and took on the stage name Trobulez. In the spring of 2007, he decided to go a different direction with his music and linked up with Andrew Brown, who later became his manager. He worked hard on creating his own voice and style that was honest, emotional and vivid. The music he wrote was based on his personal life experiences. Dropping the hardcore act, Troublez changed his name to Stevie C, because he wanted to be a different face for hip-hop, but more importantly, a role model for his newborn daughter Nevaeh.
On March 16, 2010 and 2 mixtapes later, Stevie C released his debut album titled Unstoppable.
