Stikyfüt is an up and coming four-piece band based out of Kalamazoo, MI, managed by Meghan Tkachuk. Their music mashes styles from (old) Incubus, Florence and the Machine and Jefferson Airplane with a lot of heavy jams that tickle the aural fantasy.
Stikyfüt has played many shows in the greater area of Michigan and will be the only band from Kalamazoo to perform in the Hometown Rock Crown on April 9th, 2011 at The Loft in downtown Lansing. The Rock Crown will feature 24 bands competing for the title of Mid Michigan’s best local act.
Stikyfüt’s humble outlook and laid-back attitude have given them many great experiences and fruitful connections. They present themselves as a tight nit family and treat outsiders as welcome family members too. Though Stikyfüt is only one year old, they draw great crowds and are seemingly magnetic.
They’re newly hired photographer, Kevin Romeo (who had never listened to the band) was immediately excited to work with them.
Romeo said, “Stikyfüt impressed me right off the bat just by being incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Their music is fun too- please check them out on Facebook or Myspace.”
Their hard work is like that of Radiohead or Jack White. Their dedication to both their music and their image are beyond anyone’s expectations.
“They hired me as their manager and the next day, we were out on the town together dropping off press kits and demo CDs to venues. They are just as dedicated as I want to be,” said their manager Meghan Tkachuk.
StikyFüt looks forward to a long and successful music career with many more great times to share with their fans.

Stikyfüt is not your typical band. They’re 4 creative minds amped up to start a revolution. These cats live life day by day with hunger in their hearts and an attitude that is sure to please. Stikyfüt writes music that you can relate to, music that is real - music that bleeds, laughs, and cries out to each and every soul, awakening the dreams that were once forgotten. This isn’t just a band; this is a family made of people just like you, built on the love and desire to live everyday as your last.
