Still Standing began as a few friends writing some tunes together and evolved into a brotherhood. Coming from QC bands such as Kings, Haddonfield, The Outsiders, and Kronos Resistor,Bled for Days, Still Standing is an amalgamation of musicians looking to set a new standard in QCHC.
Starting in 2015, Still Standing came right out the gate with the demo EP release titled "Cease and Desist". After the release, they hit corners of the midwest bringing the high energy shows with them.
Fast forward to May of 2016, the long hard work of writing and practice brought them to the release of the "Until the End, My Friend" EP along with the title video as well. Crunching guitars mixed with intense vocals followed with clock stopping tempo dropping breakdowns made the EP what it became to be. HEAVY!
The release of "Until the End.." took Still Standing back out on the road to visit new areas and makes new friends to help spread the band's lasting impression and they continue to turn heads at every stop.
In February of 2017, Still Standing entered Sound In Silence Recordings to start work on their next EP titled, "Sell//Worth". Taking a whole year to write and record a tougher and heavier record compared to "Until the End, My Friend"
Still Standing will be releasing our new EP "Self//Worth" in Spring/ Summer of 2018.
