"Still Water Claims@Rosemount 4/11/09"

November 04 we got a chance to see a young band called Still Water Claims at their fav venue the Rosemount.

Third gig of the night and the venue is warmed up and wanting more, the floor is packed and the patrons are quite happy.

SWC's leads straight into what was to be a very heavy set, with Andre screaming into the mic as the heads and arms of the audience start to thrash all over the place.

SWC had quite a few fans in the audience, those who appreciated what SWC performed for the night.

Great string work, skin smashing and interaction with their audience SWC wowed those enjoying their loud sound.

A great gig guys, a pleasure to review.

Bio

Still Water Claims are a 5 piece post hardcore/melodic band hailing from Perth Western Australia. After experiencing a few member changes in their early days they are extremely happy with how things have turned out up to now. After having been together just a year, and gigging for about 6 months, SWC are already headlining shows and blowing ppl away with their musical talent and stage presence.

All of the band members come from a different and vast musical background which only adds compliment to the music that they write. They are well known for the different genre's that they manage to pack into a single song, yet, make it fit so well.

After playing countless amounts of shows in the past 6 months, including a north-west tour which saw the boys taking a bus with a heap of friends and an acoustic support act through Geraldton, Karratha and Port Hedland to name a few, SWC have developed quite the fan base.

With a handful of massive shows already booked for the coming months of 2010, Still Water Claims are definitely an act to watch out for
