The band was officially formed in the Fall of 2002. each member had been involved in different ministries of music previously. Although we had different things going on at the time, a door was opened for us to get together and lead worship. As a result we began praying to seek God's direction in us continuing to play together. Through a combination of different things we felt sure He was leading us to do just that.
Although the music is important, our first and foremost goal is to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Mark 16:15 commands us to preach the Good News to everyone, and that is what we as the ministry of Stirred Up Soul intends to do.
