Even though the other artist performed a good show there was nothing like Stixs Jones performance. When Stixs Jones step on that stage all you heard was the crowd saying You be where the lames be I be where its popin at. Stixs Jones had the crowd going wild with his Hit single (popin at)It was like everybody knew the words to the song. Its a very catchy song a real good party song. On February 20, 1989 Bridgeton NJ, Akeem Jones was born to the parents of Doris & Tracey Jones, yeah hes an eighty baby the ladies baby. Akeem is one of five kids he has two sisters and two brothers. Akeem wanted better for his life so instead of running the streets he chose to go to school and hit the books hard. After Graduating in 2007 from Bridgeton High School Akeem went to work for leons glass factory. Lets take it back a few years growing up most of his life in Amity Heights Projects in Bridgeton, NJ it wasnt easy nor was it hard some would say its what you make it you know the typical life growing up in the projects. Early on in his day Akeem was giving the name Stixs Jonez because he was always skinny as a kid growing up so it stuck with him. At the age of eleven Stixs Jonez started rapping although he wasnt to good at first that didnt stop him, he was determine to be one of the best in the rap game. Influenced by some of the bigger names in rap like Jay-Z, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G, & T.I, Stixs Jonez quickly perfected his craft an took his rhyme skills to the streets and school bathrooms. From battling dudes in the school bathrooms to the streets Stixs Jonez would destroy his competion everywhere he went he quickly made a name for himself all over South Jersey . Now at the age of twenty stixs Jonez is one of the best rapper in New Jersey he is ready for the music industry and wont stop till he is on top of the rap game. He is currently working with his manager Jay-R CEO of Vendetta Records NJ in pursue of a major record deal. Jay-R continues to show Stixs Jonez the in & out of this music industry. Stixs Jonez has what it take to be one of the best rapper past & present dead or alive, and his skills will defiantly change the way the rap game is, Soon Stixs Jonez will be a house whole name and his mission in music will be complete .
