Bio

Originally from New Mexico and Chile, STOIC FRAME features Keith Sanchez on vocals and guitar, brother Todd Sanchez on bass, and life long friends Matias Pizarro on drums and Glenn "Buddha" Benavidez on percussion and guitar. Amidst civil war, they met and played under the thatched roofs of San Salvador's counterculture. A few years later, Stoic Frame moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, becoming one of the most
popular bands in the Southwest. The band helped forge a ground breaking bilingual crossover concept in the edgy modern rock genre by releasing all their material
in English and Spanish. They've incorporated congas,"spanglish", and Latin rhythm, into hard hitting modern rock creating a strikingly unique sound.

The band moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and is currently a prominent figure in the LA English and Spanish rock scenes. Stoic Frame's material has been featured on national and international television, including MTV Espanol, WB's "The Shield", Telemundo's "Adrenalina", BET/MTV "The Ultimate Hustler" and Univision. Widely circulated publications such as The Albuquerque Journal, New Mexico Weekly Alibi, La Opinion, La Banda Elastica and Modern Fixx Magazine have all recently published articles about the band. Stoic Frame's recent released Spanish language L.P. "JUSTICIA", is distributed in the US and Canada by Navarre Corporation. Off this release, the band placed two top ten singles on Radio & Records' Latin Alternative national charts. "Demonios" reached the #1 position for three weeks, and remained in R&R's Latin Alternative top twenty for six months. They were the fist independent act ever to reach the number one spot in the Latin Alternative genre. Their followup English record "Spinning the Roulette God", also distributed by Navarre Corporation, will hit stores nationwide and in Canada on April 3, 2007.

Stoic Frame ceaselessly tours throughout the Southwest and West Coast. Their resume includes opening for acts such as Incubus, 311, Kid Rock, Smashmouth, Jerry Cantrell, Limp Bizkit, KRS 1 and Resorte.
