Stolen Heights

Stolen Heights is fronted by Maxime Vallires, a Quebec City native who has been greatly involved in the citys artistic community. His involvement has led to important encounters, which have allowed him to push the boundaries of music as an art form and a way of life.

Hailing from the blooming Quebec music scene, Stolen Heights, founded in early 2013, proves to be more than a musical project. Collaborations with numerous visual artists are to be expected in every aspect of the project. The band is known for its colourful live performances, which include both live painting and the projection of avant-garde visuals.

Vallires lyrical inspiration ranges from every day events, his travel experiences, and personal aspirations, as well as his lifelong obsession with the meaning of certain words and phrases. The words and music have been quoted as "unexpected", "sonically appealing", "melodic", and "accessible".

Stolen Heights first album, entitled "We Could Be Trees", was independently released on December 3, 2013. It is available online and in select stores.
