Bio
Feel good music. Music that flows freely, and is unencumbered by the boundaries of a single genre. Intense passion and emotion comes out in the music of Stomping Grounds, yet, it has a sense of ease. Listeners have described this Santa Cruz based band as “soulful” and “bluesy”.
Recently selling out shows on a local level, Stomping Grounds is starting to have some regional success. The band began in May of 2012 and consists of Matthew Howard, Judson DiSalvo, Alex Abreu, and brothers, Antonio and Lorenzo Anzaldua. Influences of the band include classic rock, jazz-fusion, reggae, and indie music.
