I have been playing the guitar for about 15 years now, and have written many original songs while playing in various garage rock bands. Having seen "my band" StonAltar fall apart again last year, I've decided to branch out on my own with an acoustic solo gig. Although my favorite musical influences are decidedly "hard rock" such as The Offspring, SoundGarden/Audioslave, Metallica, etc. I also have a mellow side such as Third Day, Jars of Clay, and Phil Keaggy.
My songwriting and arranging talent is what sets me apart from your "average" band - each one is unique from the others and carry meaningful lyrics. I never follow a formula or rip off someone else's ideas just to get a song together. My style is difficult to compare or define because it varies widely from intense rock rhythms to soft finger-style ballads (sometimes in the same song).
