Bio
French power-metal combo Stonecast form in Marseille in 2002 by will of Kanon (vocals) and Cazu (guitars) with the aim of exploiting previous musical experiences through a brand new project.
The focus is on creating a personal and individual style, their own sonic dimension strong of identity and personality.
After some line-up adjustment the band reaches its first demo in early 2004, soon followed by appearances on important stages and major festivals in southern France.
Intense live activities continue across 2006-2007 and the experience gained on stage culminates in the composition process of Inherited Hell which is completed in fall 2008.
Stonecast are hence ready for their debut in early 2009, and a deal with renown italian label Underground Symphony allows them to enter the worldly heavy metal scenario through the main door with world-wide distribution and a packaging well above the current industry standards.
The release of the album is being backed by a series of live shows that will hit clubs as well as summer festivals all across Europe during which Stonecast will present Inherited Hell in all its live power and impact.
