Stone Sunshine

Stone Sunshine was formed in a small East Tn. town in 2004. Chuckie Phillips always wanted a band named Stone Sunshine because his father was a musician and had used that name before his untimely death when Chuckie was only three. The bands first CD was titled Stone Sunshine--In Memory of Steve Richmond. Steve was a musician and close friend who was murdered on his way to the top. There second CD was released as they left TN. to play some gigs throughout Florida. Their new CD titled Bad Outlaw is anticipated to be their best CD with a possible record contract before release.
The present members include Chuckie Phillips who has played in a country band and heavy metal band before deciding to put this band together. Dale Cooper comes from a background of bluegrass and use to attend Chuckie's shows before becoming a member. David Hicks who is Chuckie's uncle and played in bands with Chuckie's dad before he died in an auto accident and he has played in a wide variety of bands throughout his life. Adam Roberts who comes from the heavy metal side of music. Their unique sound and wide variety of music comes from these different backgrounds.
