"Stonethrown"

"Vibrating intensity and elegant arrangements in this epic, dense and emotional rock" - Inanna Naked Webzine

"Lookout World"

A lot of bands and singer/songwriters self-release these days. This has become a relatively easy thing to do. However, very few newcomers are able to capture that intangible quality that every creative entity requires to be worthy of greater attention. When all of those nebulous qualities, personalities and visions coalesce to form something completely independent yet inextricably connected to all its elements. Stonethrown’s songwriting is sharp and innovative. The production is engaging. The vocals are emotionally direct. Check out their myspace page for a list of influences that include a who’s who of 90s and 00s Britpop, as well as Jeff Buckley, Foo Fighters, etc…--and you’ll hear traces throughout these tracks, but what’s most notable is the convergence of strong musical wills to form something even stronger: A unique voice. Standouts: Cryin’ Shame, underwater, Where You Stand. - The Hater Hater--Itunes Review
