Finally a rock band that’s lyrics deliver as much as their amazing musicianship, with amazing rock leads, powerful vocal melodies and lyrics that speak to real people in real life. This modern rock with a twist on classical influences this is something the rock world has never seen and has already shown a love for, with everything from hard driving rock to acoustic only ballads, this album has become a fan favorite.
Make no mistake this is not just another rock band, the powerfully and masterfully written melodies and lyrics are only enhanced by StoneWater's ability to captivate a live audience with stunning performances and showman ship. With only around a year under its belt, StoneWater has risen to the top of there state. StoneWater's first show was for the finals of 94.7 Fm the buzz in Okc, and they have been unstoppable since.
StoneWater recently had the privilege of some legendary musicians working on our recent demo, like the guitarist Luis Carlos (currently playing with Anna Nalick, & Pat Monahan platinum Columbia artist). Tim Hogan on bass also playing with Anna Nalick, and Scott Underwood (Drummer for the Grammy winning "Train"). This album was recorded at Golden track studios with the help of Steve Weatherbee both the studio and Steve are responsible for the first three albums of the mega band P.O.D. we are grateful for them believing in us and taking on this project.
StoneWater has been quoted in USA Today, LA Times,,, The Washington Post, The Harold, Dallas Times, Navy Times, Army Times, The Daily Oklahoman, and dozens more news papers, and recently made the front page of the Lawton Constitutional. StoneWater has appeared on Fox 25 OKC morning show, news 9 morning show, news 4, and has dozens of radio interviews…
StoneWater has been given featured artists spots, and artist spotlights on radio stations like, May 2007 featured artist on lixx radio, myspace band of the month for Renegade Radio, Enigma Underground Radio, KIHN’s morning show, and several more FM and internet stations, including dj´s choosing our song Hero as the theme song of their radio show. StoneWater placed #10 in riffstar.com's 2008 nations best rock song contest.
StoneWater is the official sponsoring band of B.A.C.A. s Oklahoma city charter, and the official band for the Oklahoma charter of Operation America Rising (the largest support our troops charity in the nation). Everyday StoneWater is gaining more and more press and buzz, this band is sure to soon be a national phenomenon.
