Lyrics

Right There

Written By: Dee Stone

you must have had it in a real bad way
to make you think that youÕve got to go it alone
somebody broke your heart
burned it, turned it into bitter stone
must have had some hard times
back-breaking soul-shakin blues-making days
to make you give up on the love
and go down there to that lonely, lonely place

when the sun comes up in the morning youÕre gonna smille
you gonna feel good to know your heart is safe and sound
and when i see you look my way, i know you believe me, yeah
everythingÕs gonna be just fine
and iÕm gonna be right there

iÕve been watching you climbing walls
deperado sick and tired of the pain
sad people and sad lives, bringing you down
it gets so hard to maintain
shake off the dirty water
get the misery and mayhem out from under your skin
no matter what they did or said to you
youÕve got to dance your dance again

when the sun comes up in the morning youÕre gonna smille
you gonna feel good to know your heart is safe and sound
and when i see you look my way, i know you believe me, yeah
everythingÕs gonna be just fine
and iÕm gonna be right there

Falling

Written By: Dee Stone

iÕve been chasing things elusive
did you catch my drift in mellow?
got a tasty new obsession
and heÕs such a happy fellow

i see tomorrow in his eyes
so delightful, see me smiling?
bittersweet the morning afters
taste a little bliss tonight

falling into him
i found myself
melting into heaven
colors everywhere
brigher, bolder
everything is different now
anticipating all thatÕs new and rare
falling into him

oh, still waters do run deep
like heavy cream on my peaches
strong and sweet this brown elixir
he is all iÕll ever need

when the day is dimming down
iount my blessings two and four now
click my heels three times, i am home
and i am loved

falling into him
i found myself
melting into heaven
colors everywhere
brigher, bolder
everything is different now
anticipating all thatÕs new and rare
falling into him

Get Back to the Love

Written By: Dee Stone

been through the maze of love
dazed and silly phase of love
donÕt want to compromise
run and hide, call your bluff
slippin kissin trippin missin, cold dismissin love
but when it rushes in
you open wide and see

the love that you thought you would never have
you woke up and found on your doorstep
you and i, weÕre gonna work this
work this thing on out
gonna get back to the love

all of the lines in the sand
drawn with hands of time you wasted
finally came around
figured out you donÕt know a damned thing
yesterday wore you down like bones in the ground
and the blues you cried
and when it rushes in
you open wide and see

the love that you thought you would never have
you woke up and found on your doorstep
you and i, weÕre gonna work this
work this thing on out
gonna get back to the love

Shattered

Written By: Dee Stone

he said he was the one whoÕd always have my back
he said i was the one he loved all day and night
but lately iÕve been feeling heÕs got somethin on his mind
now heÕs walking out the door

shattered
what do i do now
shattered
he was everything to me
shattered
my whole world is upside down
shattered like a broken bottle on a dead end street

i let him in that place i thought his heart was true
gave all i had to give was it all one big lie
sometimes you think youÕll make it through and then the music dies
fading into nothingness

shattered
what do i do now
shattered
he was everything to me
shattered
my whole world is upside down
shattered like a broken bottle on a dead end street

tell him not to go away
tell him to come home
tell him i donÕt want him to go away
no, no, no, no, no

shattered
what do i do now
shattered
he was everything to me
shattered
my whole world is upside down
shattered like a broken bottle on a dead end street

It Begins Tonight

Written By: Dee Stone

dreams are calling
speaking loudly
time is here now
donÕt delay
let the chains fall
from Ôround my ankles
while bits and pieces
of my shadow fade way

sleepy eyes wide
bring the daylight
there is no joy like
what is in me now
yesterday i
felt the wind blow through me
saw the new me
drawing circles on the wall

clouds surround my shimmer
but this story has no end
gonna find my own way
to the woman that i am
step into the white light
the song will be my guide
gonna find my own way
it begins tonight

dreams are calling
i am happy
lead me on
cause iÕm knee deep
in this epiphany
bring the symphony
play the way for me

heaven helps those
who find new hope
live from the heart
donÕt deny the fire
all that is you
beautiful and true
you know that you are

clouds surround my shimmer
but this story has no end
gonna find my own way
to the woman that i am
step into the white light
the song will be my guide
gonna find my own may
it begins tonight
