Bio

Story's End is a three-piece alternative rock band originally from Orlando, FL now based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Formed in the fall of 2011, Story's End borrows the musical influences and backgrounds of its three members to create a unique blend of melodic, driving rock.

After releasing their self-titled debut EP in 2012, Michael Folds (guitars and lead vocals), Dan Lacey (bass, backing vocals, and keys), and Troy Wickliffe (drums and percussion) spent the next three years making friends and building a strong fanbase focused in the Central Florida area.

In early 2015, the trio began a new chapter of their story, packed up their gear, and made the move from Orlando to Los Angeles.

To date, Story's End has played venues all over the Central Florida area as well as in Central Illinois and Los Angeles—notably, The House of Blues Orlando, The Viper Room in West Hollywood, The Social in Orlando, Bombshells Tavern in Orlando, West End Trading Co. in Sanford (FL), Cowboy Monkey in Champaign (IL), and the 2015 Special Olympics World Games USC Festival Stage in Los Angeles.

They've headlined shows large and small, and supported both national touring acts—from 12 Stones and Framing Hanley to Black Tide and A Hero's Fate—and local favorites—including Not Tonight Josephine, A Brilliant Lie, Traverser, and Soul Switch.
