"Stoyic win EA Games UK final"

Burn to be Wild - four of the hottest underground up and coming bands in the UK battled it out to have their music soundtrack one of EA Games stunning Burnout games. It was always going to be awesome and when NME went to Manchester's Hard Rock cafe to help judge the UK final it surpassed all expectations. The finalists were handpicked from thousands of entries so NME readied itself to watch some mighty fine talent in action...it was close but the prize went to Stoyic whose barrage of punkoid, emo-influenced rock manage to bowl the judges over. - NME

"Review of Something More Human EP"

Stoyic should be headlining the Bristol Ashton Court Festival, it beats me why they need big name bands to headline when Bristol has bands of this calibre. - Bristol Rock website

"Stoyic play at Edinburgh Fringe"

Somerset based band Stoyic have impressed the judges and been voted onto the New Music stage at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. Tipped for the top, Stoyic are one of only nine bands chosen to showcase on the PRS New Msuic stage out of over 500 bands who applied to play. - PRS

"Stoyic play Sheer Music night"

Stoyic are a different proposition altogether, blending heavy riffs and ballsy tunes, reminiscent of American emo-core, but whatever you want to call it, it rocks, hard. A genuine buzz sourrounds this band and you'd be a fool to miss out. - Sheer Music
